A collection of WW2 Royal Navy badges, buttons, early 20th century scouting items, service cap and other memorabilia associated with C/MX97594 Electrical Artificer, later Petty Officer Jack Myatt. To include: a black woollen Petty Officers service cap with bullion badge applied to the front, the metal hat storage tin (named to J.Myatt on the brass plaque), another 2 P.O bullion badge and embroidered example on a hat band. Plus, 3 embroidered rank badges, and a bullion example, 2 Royal Navy cap tallies for HMS President and HMS Victory, a white metal identity bracelets named to ‘J.Myatt EA C/MX97594 C of E’, a bag containing numerous brass and bakelite Royal Navy buttons, vintage dressings, yellow lens sunglasses (possibly military issue, but no marks), plus some medal ribbons stitched onto what appears to be a fragment of uniform. Also included are some pre-WW2 souvenir of Jack’s service in the Deep Sea Scouts, including a leather belt and buckle (named Myatt to the inside), a blue neckerchief with yellow embroidered badge, and a bronze Boy Scout badge with button hole fitting. Condition: varies across pieces, with age and service wear. The Navy cap has moth tracking to the crown and is a little dusty. Its black painted storage tin has some paint losses and is dented in places. The other badges show normal age and service wear and are generally in good order. The buttons are in good condition, as are the sunglasses. The Scout neckerchief is a little soiled, and there is some wear and dryness to the leather Scout belt.
