1327 Private Thomas Brain, 2/4th Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry was killed in Action on 7 October 1916. He was from Neithrope, Banbury and was 23 years of age. He is buried/commemorated in the Merville Communal Cemetery, France
